Register
We advise you to register early, as we are usually full long before the June 15 late registration deadline. Total fees in U.S. currency are due by June 15, 2012. Before submitting your registration, please review the information in Program, Schedule, Fees, Housing and Meals, Students, and Teacher Training.
Important Dates and Deadlines
The following deadlines will be strictly enforced:
- February 1: Registration opens.
- Mid-April: General information and orchestra music sent to students who have registered.
- June 1: Advanced Program and Honor Recital recordings due. Advanced students must register by this date to be guaranteed placement in a chamber ensemble. We will mail chamber music in June.
- June 15: Final payment in U.S. currency due. (Except for the $100 down payment, refunds are available before June 15 if you notify us in writing.) Final housing and meal requests due. Advanced Program students need to tell us which piece they will be playing in master class by this date, or we will assume it is the same as their audition tape.
- After June 15: There will be a $25 late fee per registrant if initial registration or final payment is received after this date. Late registrants must pay their total bill at the time of registration. You may request housing or meals after this date if space is available, but we must have your full payment in hand.
Student Registration
The following items must all be mailed to us for student registration to be complete. Please save photocopies of your registration forms, and do not purchase airline tickets until we have sent you an email confirmation that your registration is complete.

Scholarships
There are limited number of need-based scholarships available. Please fill out the Scholarship Application and return by May 1, 2012.

Teacher Registration
Please review the information in Teacher Training. The following items must all be mailed to us for teacher-observer, teacher-trainer, or one-day workshop registration to be complete. Please save photocopies of your registration forms, and do not purchase airline tickets until we have sent you an email confirmation that your registration is complete. THE INSTITUTE RETAINS THE RIGHT TO CANCEL A TEACHER TRAINING COURSE ON MAY 1 IF THERE IS INSUFFICIENT ENROLLMENT. We will continue to accept teachers after May 1, but encourage you to register, with the registration fee, by May 1, in order to guarantee the course you wish to take will be offered.

No mail is accepted that requires our signature. Please send a check or money order payable to “SERA.” We are unable to accept credit cards. Overseas students, including Canadians, are required to send a money order or arrange a wire transfer in U.S. currency.
