Suzuki Early Childhood Education classes are designed with our youngest students in mind: children ages 0-3 (and a parent or caregiver). A team of two teachers leads the children in exploring rhythm, language, motion, cues, dance, color, song, and rhyme, while introducing key Suzuki concepts to parents and training them to be expert observers of their children. Instruments used in each class include voices, hands, drums, triangle, woodblock, xylophone, glockenspiel and other percussion instruments.
JSSI is delighted to welcome teacher trainer, Danette Schuh, as our lead teacher this year.
Class will meet for an hour at 10:30 am on Monday (immediately after the Opening Ceremony); for Tuesday – Friday, class will meet at 10 am.
To optimize your learning experience, we strongly recommend that you purchase the CD and booklet in advance of class and begin listening daily. That link includes options of purchasing a physical CD, purchasing the recordings on iTunes or listening in Apple Music if you are a subscriber.
