Video recording submissions are due Monday, May 25th, 2020.
We use video recordings for several purposes:
- To select students who will perform in our Honors Recitals
- To select students who will participate in our Young Artists Program
- To appropriately place students into Chamber Music groups
- To determine section leaders in the Advanced Orchestra
All video recordings for Honors Recital and Young Artists should be recorded with piano accompaniment. Performance with a full orchestra is also acceptable. In 2020, as many of us are subject to social distancing/stay home orders during the registration period, videos may be submitted without piano accompaniment. Please submit only ONE video per student.
After uploading your video to YouTube.com, please verify that the settings are set to public or unlisted. The registration form will ask for the link of your uploaded video. You can also return to the registration and add the link later. If you have questions about video recording submissions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org before the deadline (Monday, May 25th).
