2020 Registration Fee
Everyone pays a registration fee: students and participants in teacher training courses.
$40 per family March 1st- March 31st
$70 $40 per family April 1st – May 15th
$100 $40 per family May 16th – June 1st
Please note that registration is conditional upon availability in desired courses.

Observers
We welcome and encourage guests to observe our classes. Please note that teacher workshops are not available for observation. There is no charge to observe classes at institute. We simply ask that you email the institute office (japanseattle01@gmail.com) to let us know that you are coming. Please consider making a donation to our operating costs via Paypal or dropping off a check in the institute office when you pick up your nametag.
Key Cards
All participants will need a key card (which is also a meal card, if meals are pre-ordered) in order to access buildings and elevators on SPU campus. We recommend keeping keycards behind your name tag. Please do NOT write on them, bend them, or attach stickers. Key cards must be returned at the end of institute, preferably in the same envelope they are issued in. There is a $20 replacement fee for key cards that are lost, damaged, or not returned.
Payments, cancellations and refunds
You have the option of paying in full at registration or making a $150 deposit and setting up an automatic payment plan. Scholarship applicants are required to make a $25 deposit. Payment in full is due by July 1st. $150 of your payment, per registrant, is non-refundable. No refunds will be issued after July 1st. You may cancel your registration before May 31st for a full refund. If we are unable to hold JSSI 2020 due to COVID-19, we will issue full refunds to all who have registered.
